The fair also saw the debut of two new MARO products: Mosaiko 3D wall panels and the Kitu collection. Below, we explain how the stand came together, what we showed and what you can take from it for your own office.
From rooms to relationships – this year’s theme
ORGATEC is Europe’s leading trade fair for office and contract furniture, held every two years in Cologne. In 2026, for the first time in its history, it had a central theme: “From Rooms to Relationships”. In short: the office is no longer just a collection of rooms – it is a place that should bring people together.
We answered that theme the MARO way. The whole stand – an office of around 70 m² in Hall 7 (stand D041) – was designed by our in-house architect. Light curtains separate the zones: a meeting area with a kitchen at the back, and a relaxation area and lounge at the front.
Each zone has its own colour: burgundy in the meeting area, dark green in the lounge and warm ochre in the relaxation zone. This makes the stand easy to find your way around, while keeping it visually coherent.
Premiere: Mosaiko – 3D felt wall panels that decorate and improve acoustics

A blank office wall is a missed opportunity – and a poster in a clip frame is even worse. Mosaiko is our answer: 3D felt wall panels that look like modern artwork and improve room acoustics at the same time.
Each panel has three layers, so the pattern sits on different levels. Light and shadow do the rest, giving the wall a depth that paint alone can’t. The felt reduces reverberation, which makes Mosaiko a great fit wherever things get noisy: open-plan offices, meeting rooms or kitchens.
On the stand, we arranged nine panels in wooden frames into a single composition above a high table. That’s just one idea. Mosaiko (500 × 500 mm) can hang on its own, like a picture, or be combined into a larger layout covering a whole wall – unframed, or in a felt or wooden frame. The panels are made of PET and rPET felt, partly from recycled material.
Premiere: the Kitu collection – soft shapes, many fabrics

Our second new product is the Kitu collection – office armchairs and a sofa. They feature soft, rounded backrests and bolster-shaped armrests on a slim metal frame. Kitu will be available in a wide range of fabrics and colours.
On the stand, two Kitu armchairs and a sofa, together with an oval coffee table, created an office lounge – a space for meeting a client without booking a room, a quick brainstorm or a few minutes away from the screen. Kitu will be available to order in early 2027.
Meeting zone: from one-to-one talks to a quick coffee

Not every meeting needs a conference room. That’s why the back of the stand offered places to talk at different scales:
- One-to-one talks or video calls – the enclosed SafeSpot meeting booth with a TV wall and a worktop.
- Team meetings – round Idea S tables with comfortable Febo chairs.
- A quick coffee – a high table with Saniro stools.
It all leads to the CulinArt kitchen, with pink fronts and a travertine-look worktop. Today, an office kitchen isn’t a back room – it’s the heart of the team, and that’s exactly how we treated it.
Relaxation zone and cloakroom: room to breathe

The centre of the front area is taken up by Sitiq – a round, modular seating unit. Seats run around its entire circumference, so several people can use it at once, whether for a chat or a short break. It is screened from the rest of the stand by the curved AcuStixx acoustic partition, made of vertical upholstered elements.

Right next to it, against the green wall, we showed what an office cloakroom can look like: PRO cabinets with hinged doors and PRO Lockers for personal belongings. Between them is an upholstered niche where you can sit down, change your shoes or wait for a meeting. A small detail that simply makes the office work better.
What does this mean for your office?
In a small space, the stand showed how MARO sees a good office:
- Different spaces for different tasks – alongside desks, you need booths, tables, a kitchen and a place to rest.
- Zones defined by colour – colours, curtains and partitions organise the space and make it easy to find your way around.
- Soft materials – felt and fabrics make the interior feel warmer and more welcoming.
- It works in a small space too – all the zones fit into around 70 m².
Most of the furniture from the stand has its own product page with dimensions, versions and colours – just follow the links in the text.
Frequently asked questions
When will Mosaiko and Kitu be available to order?
Mosaiko is already available – you’ll find patterns, frames and colours on the Mosaiko page. Kitu will be added to our range in early 2027.
Do Mosaiko panels improve office acoustics?
Yes. Mosaiko panels are made of PET and rPET felt, which reduces reverberation. That’s why they work well in open-plan offices, meeting rooms and shared spaces – wherever the office gets loudest.
