Fine materials require special treatment. Find out how
to maintain them and preserve their beauty for the years to come.
Check out below how to take care of them.
Furniture made of melamine board and high pressure laminate (HPL) have a protective surface that does not require special care. We recommend using a soft, lint-free cloth moistened with lukewarm water or water with cleaning agents. Do not leave droplets or stains on the surface of the furniture, as those may cause microscopic cracks or discoloration.

Wooden furniture is sensitive to various factors such as humidity, temperature, UV radiation or dust, therefore proper care is particularly relevant. The key is to ensure the appropriate temperature (18-27 ºC) and humidity level (40-60%) in the room with wooden furniture. It should not be placed near heat sources, such as radiators, stoves or fireplaces. You should protect it from water and other liquids, and in case you spill any liquid on a wooden surface, wipe it dry as soon as possible (you can use paper towels to absorb excess moisture). We advise taking care of wooden surfaces by wiping them gently with soft fabrics and using mild furniture detergents. They should be used as indicated by producers of such agents.
Natural veneers are a demanding material in terms of maintenance. They also vary in terms of color and are moisture-, temperature- and sunlight-sensitive. We recommend regular cleaning of surfaces with a soft cloth soaked with lukewarm water to prevent dirt and dust from building up.

Polished stone has much better utility properties than most natural stones. It distinguishes itself by low absorbability, thanks to which it is easy to maintain and resistant to high humidity. When cleaning polished surfaces, remember that they require more attention, as polished materials are more susceptible. For daily maintenance, it is sufficient to clean it with warm water and a natural detergent. We recommend getting familiarized with the ways of maintaining natural materials (the necessity to dilute the detergents). It is necessary to use soft materials for cleaning as the use of abrasive ones such as steel wool or stiff brushes may cause indelible marks and scratches.
Regardless of the thickness of the surface, glass is a material exposed to various types of damage, and therefore its use and maintenance should follow a few simple rules:
We recommend cleaning and maintenance of leather parts at least once a quarter. The whole process should be done in two stages. We advise to wash leather with a cloth soaked in olive soap or another product dedicated to leather. Clean it piece by piece and wipe the clean parts with a dry, soft cloth. After thorough drying, we recommend applying impregnating substance available on the market.
Fabrics should not be treated with any type of liquids due to their high absorbency. Superficial dirt can be removed with a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush. For heavier dirt, use a damp cloth and dedicated upholstered furniture cleaners, always following the producer's recommendations.
Use a damp cloth and mild cleaning agents to clean the racks, handles and other metal parts. After cleaning, wipe off. Do not remove grease from moving parts!
This smooth, homogeneous acrylic material is resistant to minor impacts and bacteria, and can also come into contact with food in a harmless way. However, in order to ensure the best possible maintenance, we recommend its regular cleaning with a soft cloth and water or with the use of ordinary cleaning agents. Strong chemicals, rough fabrics or mechanical cleaning with brushes, scrapers, etc. may damage the surface, so we recommend removing stubborn dirt with a soft sponge and cleaning agents for plastic or cream cleaner (no scouring agents).
Fittings used in MARO furniture do not require any special maintenance except for periodic cleaning. The following are recommended cleaning methods, depending on the type of fitting:
